# Allah

**الله** — The One True God

The supreme name encompassing all divine attributes; the only being worthy of worship, possessing every attribute of perfection.

**Source:** İhlâs 112:1 (112:1)

**Virtue:** The name Allah is the most exalted, encompassing every other divine name, and stands at the heart of Islam's foundational testimony—'There is no god but Allah.' Remembering this blessed name with the heart and tongue cultivates an awareness of divine unity and brings tranquility to the soul. The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught that the most virtuous remembrance is 'Lā ilāha illa Allāh'—a phrase that purifies the self, renews faith, and draws the worshipper closer to God.
