# Al-Ba'ith

**الْبَاعِثُ** — The Resurrector

The One who will resurrect the dead on the Day of Judgment, restoring all beings to life.

**Source:** Hac 22:7 (22:7)

**Virtue:** Al-Ba'ith declares that Allah raises the dead, brings them up from their graves, and calls every servant to account in the Hereafter. In Surah al-Hajj 22:7 He says: 'And the Hour will come—no doubt about it—and Allah will resurrect those in the graves.' The servant who reflects on this name remembers every day that death is not the end; they know their deeds will face them when raised in the Hereafter. At the same time, they hope for resurrection from a state of despair too—Allah by His name Al-Ba'ith can bring a heart that has died back to life.
