# Al-Muqsit

**الْمُقْسِطُ** — The Equitable One

The One who acts with perfect equity and fairness in all matters, ensuring every right is fulfilled.

**Source:** Enbiyâ 21:47 (21:47)

**Virtue:** Al-Muqsit declares that Allah deals with justice and equity, never wronging any servant by an atom's weight. In Surah al-Hujurat 49:9 He commands peace between two Muslim groups and says: 'Judge between them with justice (aqsiṭū)—indeed, Allah loves those who act justly (al-muqsiṭīn).' The servant who reflects on this name becomes themselves a bearer of justice—between spouses, between children, at work, in trade. On the Day of Judgment, Al-Muqsit will not leave any servant's right wanting; this conviction is the engine of just living in this world.
