# Al-Wahhab

**الْوَهَّابُ** — The Giver of All

The One who bestows gifts and blessings abundantly without expecting anything in return.

**Source:** Âl-i İmrân 3:8 (3:8)

**Virtue:** Al-Wahhab declares that Allah is the perpetual, unconditional Bestower—granting blessings without expecting any return, lavishing favors upon those who call upon Him. The Prophet Sulayman prayed: 'My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me—indeed You are the Bestower' (Sad 38:35). The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught that Allah's hand is full and that nothing diminishes His treasures despite endless spending. The servant who invokes Al-Wahhab seeks every need only from Him, makes generosity a trait of character, and learns by heart that giving never reduces wealth.

> Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah's hand is full; no expenditure diminishes it—a flowing torrent of generosity night and day. Consider all that He has given since He created the heavens and the earth: it has not diminished what is in His right hand at all.'
