# How our pages are prepared

Some of the articles and guides on VAAZ are prepared with AI assistance. This page explains how that is done, what we check and what we cannot do.

## Sources

Verse texts and translations come from the site's own data file: the Diyanet translation on Turkish pages and Pickthall's on English pages. Hadith come from the HadeethEnc dataset. Every verse and hadith on a page is compared with this data, and one that does not match is not published. Other information is taken from primary sources such as Diyanet and the TDV Encyclopedia of Islam.

## Checks

Every claim in the text is compared one by one with the sentence in its source. A claim that is not in the source is removed from the text. After that, an independent review that did not write the text reads the page. This review can stop publication. This process applies to pages prepared from November 2026; older pages did not go through it.

## Who reviewed it

Unless the page says otherwise, no religious scholar or theologian has reviewed it. If a scholar has reviewed it, the page gives their name.

## Not a fatwa

The content here is general information, not a fatwa. For your own situation you can call Diyanet's 190 fatwa line.

## Dates and corrections

Pages show the date they were first published and the date they were last updated, and pages with a set review date show that date too. When an important correction is made, what changed and why is written at the bottom of the page.
