الْخَبِيرُ
Al-Khabir
The One who is fully informed of the inner nature of all things, knowing every hidden state and secret.
Mülk 67:14
Al-Khabir declares that Allah knows both outward events and the depths of hearts, both the past and the future. In Surah al-Hujurat 49:13 He says: 'Indeed, the noblest of you with Allah is the most God-conscious; indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.' Al-Khabir is informed not by the visible face of things but by their reality. The servant who reflects on this name takes refuge in Allah from riya' and the impurities of hidden intentions—for Allah is fully aware. At the same time, the thought 'I'll do it because no one is watching' does not settle in them; responsibility is always open.
'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Deeds are only by intentions, and every person will have only what they intended.'
