By downloading, installing, or using the VAAZ mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the app. These terms cover all services provided through the App.
VAAZ is a comprehensive Islamic education and worship platform developed for Muslim users. The App offers the following services:
Core features of the app (prayer times, qibla, dhikr, Quran reading) can be used without an account. AI chat, quiz progress, hatim participation, and premium features require account creation. You can register with email/password, Google, or Apple account. You are responsible for the accuracy and security of your account information.
When using the app, you must comply with the following rules:
Core features of VAAZ are free. In-app subscriptions are available for premium features. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to the respective store's terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. For refund requests, please contact Apple or Google directly.
VAAZ takes maximum care in the accuracy of the Islamic content provided; however, app content is for informational purposes and does not constitute a definitive religious ruling (fatwa). Responses from the AI chat feature are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors. We recommend consulting a scholar, mufti, or the Directorate of Religious Affairs for important religious matters.
The VAAZ application, its design, logo, source code, and original content are protected by copyright. Religious sources such as Quranic text and hadiths are in the public domain. Rights to user-generated content within the app (chat history, notes) belong to the user.
The free version of the app may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Ads are never shown on worship screens such as prayer, Quran reading, dhikr, and qibla; ads appear only on transition screens. Premium subscriptions remove all advertisements.
VAAZ does not guarantee that the app will operate without interruption, errors, or be accessible at all times. Prayer time calculations are reference values based on the Diyanet method; we recommend consulting your local religious authority for precise times. Location-based features (qibla, mosque finder) depend on the accuracy of your device sensors. VAAZ cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the app.
Accounts that violate usage rules may be suspended with a warning or, in cases of serious violations, terminated immediately. You can close your account at any time from the app settings or by sending an email to support@getvaaz.com.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. In case of disputes, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul shall have jurisdiction.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified of important changes via in-app notification or email. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the current terms.
