الْقَوِيُّ
Al-Qawiyy
The One who possesses infinite strength, whose power never diminishes or weakens.
Şûrâ 42:19
Al-Qawiyy declares that Allah's power, strength, and endurance are without limit; every strength He creates is from Him. In Surah Hud 11:66, in the account of Prophet Salih (peace be upon him), Allah says: 'Indeed, your Lord is Strong, Mighty.' The servant who reflects on this name remembers that true strength lies not in muscle but in the heart and the depth of faith. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer'—here strength is not bodily but the strength of mastering the self and resisting the weakness of faith.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer—though in both there is good. Hold to what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not become incapable.'
