اللَّطِيفُ
Al-Latif
The One who perceives the finest details and bestows His kindness upon servants in subtle, unseen ways.
En'âm 6:103
Al-Latif declares that Allah knows the subtlest hidden affairs and delivers His grace and mercy with such delicacy that the servant often does not notice. In Surah al-Hajj 22:63 He says: 'Allah is the Most Subtle, the All-Aware.' Al-Latif sends rain unseen; drops guidance into the heart without speech; brings provision from the most unexpected source. The servant who reflects on this name notices the hidden goodness in their life—an accident avoided, a door that closed for a reason, a help that came when needed—seeing the hand of Al-Latif. Prophet Yusuf's (peace be upon him) rise from the well to the palace is this name's living example.
Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills—for He is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.'
