الْمُغْنِي
Al-Mughni
The One who enriches whomever He wills, removing their needs and granting them sufficiency.
Al-Mughni declares that Allah enriches whomever He wills and removes their need. In Surah at-Tawbah 9:28 He says: 'If you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you from His bounty, if He wills.' This name is held alongside Al-Ghani: Allah is self-sufficient and also enriches whom He wills. The servant who reflects on this name is freed from the fear of poverty—they do not neglect work but entrust the outcome to Al-Mughni. 'What is with Allah is better and more lasting' (Al-Qasas 28:60)—that wealth is an indestructible wealth.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When you ask of Allah's hand, do not weary of asking. Allah is generous; He does not weary of being asked.'
