الْمُؤْمِنُ
Al-Mu'min
The One who instills faith and security in hearts, granting believers protection and certainty against all fears.
Haşr 59:23
Al-Mu'min announces that Allah is the Giver of security, trust, and faith—the One who makes His servants safe from fear, faithful to His promise, and the Guardian of every believer's iman. The servant who calls upon this name seeks stillness for the heart and steadfastness for faith, taking refuge in Allah from anxiety, whispers, and worldly dread. The Prophet (peace be upon him) declared that a true believer (mu'min) is one whom people trust with their lives and wealth—invoking this name shapes a person whose speech and conduct inspire trust, and protects them from hypocrisy.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe; a believer (mu'min) is one whom people trust with their lives and their wealth.'
