الشَّكُورُ
Ash-Shakur
The One who rewards small deeds generously and accepts the gratitude of His servants with great recompense.
Fâtır 35:30
Ash-Shakur declares that Allah grants great returns for even the smallest deeds of His servants, deeply appreciating little worship. In Surah Fatir 35:30 He says: 'He will give them their rewards in full and increase them from His bounty—indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.' Allah being 'Appreciative' means He gives much for what is little. The servant who offers a cup of water, strokes an orphan's head, or removes a stone from the road earns value with Ash-Shakur. The servant who reflects on this name stops belittling small good deeds in themselves or others.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Protect yourselves from the Fire even with half a date. Whoever cannot find that, then with a kind word.'
