Istikhara supplication
Recited after praying 2 rakats before an important decision.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ
Allâhümme innî estehîruke bi-ilmik, ve estakdiruke bi-kudretik, ve es'elüke min fadlikel-azîm. Fe inneke takdiru ve lâ akdiru, ve ta'lemu ve lâ a'lemu, ve ente allâmül-ğuyûb.
O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge, and I seek ability through Your power, and I ask You for Your great bounty. For You are able and I am not, and You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen.
Umar said: 'Whoever performs Istikhara will not be deprived.'

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ
Allâhümme in künte ta'lemü enne hâzel-emre hayrun lî fî dînî ve maâşî ve âkıbeti emrî fakdurhü lî ve yessirhü lî sümme bârik lî fîh.
O Allah, if You know this matter is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my final outcome, then decree it for me, make it easy, and bless it for me.

Final part of Istikhara.
وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ، وَاقْدُرْ لِي الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ
Ve in künte ta'lemü enne hâzel-emre şerrun lî fî dînî ve maâşî ve âkıbeti emrî fasrifhü annî vasrifnî anh, vakdurliyel-hayra haysü kâne sümme erdınî bih.
And if You know this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my final outcome, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it; and decree for me the good wherever it may be, and make me content with it.

Rain supplication
In times of drought.
اَللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيثًا مَرِيئًا مَرِيعًا نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارٍّ، عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ آجِلٍ
Allâhümmeskınâ ğaysen muğîsen merîen merîan nâfian ğayra dârrin, âcilen ğayra âcil.
O Allah, send us beneficial rain — abundant, healthy, profitable, and not harmful, soon and not delayed.

When it rains
When rain begins falling.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
Allâhümme sayyiben nâfia.
O Allah, may it be a beneficial rain.

Diminishing excess rain
In times of excessive rain or flooding.
اَللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلَا عَلَيْنَا، اَللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الْآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ وَبُطُونِ الْأَوْدِيَةِ وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ
Allâhümme havâleynâ ve lâ aleynâ. Allâhümme alel-âkâmi vez-zırâbi ve butûnil-evdiyeti ve menâbitiş-şecer.
O Allah, around us and not on us. O Allah, on the hills, the mountains, the valleys, and where trees grow.

Earthquake and disaster
During earthquakes and natural disasters.
اَللَّهُمَّ اعْفُ عَنَّا وَاحْفَظْنَا مِنَ الْفِتَنِ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ
Allâhümma'fü annâ vahfeznâ minel-fiteni mâ zahara minhâ ve mâ batan.
O Allah, pardon us and protect us from trials, both apparent and hidden.
Classical supplication
Debt repayment dua
When burdened by debt.
اَللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allâhümmekfinî bi-helâlike an harâmik, ve ağninî bi-fadlike ammen sivâk.
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, away from what You have forbidden, and enrich me with Your bounty so that I do not need anyone besides You.
Ali used to teach this dua to those in debt.

Relief from debt
After prayer and in financial difficulty.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ
Allâhümme innî eûzü bike minel-me'semi vel-mağrem.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and from being in debt.

When the wind blows
When strong winds blow.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ
Allâhümme innî es'elüke hayrahâ ve hayra mâ fîhâ ve hayra mâ ürsilet bih, ve eûzü bike min şerrihâ ve şerri mâ fîhâ ve şerri mâ ürsilet bih.
O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness within it, and the goodness it was sent with; and I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil within it, and the evil it was sent with.
