اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Allâhümme innî es'eluke'l-hüdâ ve't-tükâ ve'l-afâfe ve'l-ğınâ.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
Muslim, Dhikr 72
As a comprehensive supplication.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ
Allâhümme innî es'elüke min hayri mâ se'eleke minhü nebiyyüke Muhammed, ve eûzü bike min şerri mestâze minhü nebiyyüke Muhammed.
O Allah, I ask You for all the good Your Prophet Muhammad asked of You, and I seek refuge in You from all the evil from which Your Prophet Muhammad sought refuge.
Tirmidhi, Da'awat 89
In times of distress and grief.
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
Lâ ilâhe illallâhül-azîmül-halîm, lâ ilâhe illallâhü Rabbül-arşil-azîm, lâ ilâhe illallâhü Rabbüs-semâvâti ve Rabbül-ardı ve Rabbül-arşil-kerîm.
There is no deity except Allah, the Great, the Forbearing. There is no deity except Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no deity except Allah, Lord of the heavens and earth and Lord of the noble Throne.
The Prophet recited this in times of distress.
Bukhari, Da'awat 27
In troubled times.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
Allâhümme innî eûzü bike minel-hemmi vel-hazen, ve eûzü bike minel-aczi vel-kesel, ve eûzü bike minel-cübni vel-buhl, ve eûzü bike min ğalebetid-deyni ve kahrir-ricâl.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men.
Bukhari, Da'awat 36
For lofty spiritual states.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الرِّضَا بَعْدَ الْقَضَاءِ، وَبَرْدَ الْعَيْشِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَلَذَّةَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ، وَالشَّوْقَ إِلَى لِقَائِكَ
Allâhümme innî es'elüker-rıdâ ba'del-kazâ, ve berdel-ayşi ba'del-mevt, ve lezzeten-nazari ilâ vechike veş-şevka ilâ likâik.
O Allah, I ask You for contentment after Your decree, the coolness of life after death, the delight of looking at Your face, and the longing to meet You.
Nasa'i, Sahw 62
Most comprehensive supplication for the Hereafter.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ
Allâhümme innî es'elükel-cennete ve mâ karrabe ileyhâ min kavlin ev amel, ve eûzü bike minen-nâri ve mâ karrabe ileyhâ min kavlin ev amel.
O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and whatever brings me closer to it of words or deeds; and I seek refuge in You from the Fire and whatever brings me closer to it of words or deeds.
Ibn Majah, Du'a 4
Before prayer, when whisperings arise.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ
Allâhümme innî eûzü bike mineş-şeytânir-racîm, min hemzihî ve nefhihî ve nefsih.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan — from his prodding, his blowing, and his spittle.
Abu Dawud, Salat 121

اَللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allâhümme einnî alâ zikrike ve şükrike ve husni ibâdetik.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in the best manner.

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Yâ mukallibel-kulûb sebbit kalbî alâ dînik.
O Turner of hearts! Keep my heart firm upon Your religion.

Morning, evening, and after prayer.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
Allâhümme innî es'elükel-afve vel-âfiyete fid-dünyâ vel-âhirah.
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the next.
Ibn Majah, Du'a 5
In fear of enemies.
اَللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِيهِمْ بِمَا شِئْتَ
Allâhümmekfinîhim bimâ şi't.
O Allah, suffice me against them however You will.

When looking in the mirror.
اَللَّهُمَّ كَمَا حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي
Allâhümme kemâ hassente halkî fe-hassin hulukî.
O Allah, as You have beautified my creation, so beautify my character.

After Fajr prayer.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allâhümme innî es'elüke ilmen nâfian ve rızkan tayyiben ve amelen mütekabbelâ.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, lawful provision, and accepted deeds.

اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ، دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ، وَعَلَانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ
Allâhümmagfir lî zenbî küllehû, dıkkahû ve cillehû, ve evvelehû ve âhirahû, ve alâniyetehû ve sirrah.
O Allah, forgive me all of my sins — small and great, first and last, public and private.
