Transliteration

Alhamdu lillah

English meaning

All praise is for Allah.

When is it recited?

Said when sneezing. Others respond with 'Yarhamukallah' (May Allah have mercy on you). The sneezer replies: 'Yahdikumullah wa yuslihu balakum' (May Allah guide you and rectify your affairs).
