O Messenger of Allah, the properties (livestock) have perished and the roads have been cut off. So supplicate Allah to send us rain
Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man entered the mosque on a Friday through the gate facing Dār al-Qadā’ while the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was standing delivering the sermon. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his hands and then said: "O Allah, send us rain. O Allah, send us rain. O Allah, send us rain." Anas said: By Allah, we could see no cloud or even a small patch of cloud in the sky, and there was not a single house or dwelling between us and (Mount) Sal‘. He said: Then, all of a sudden, a big cloud like a shield appeared from behind it and when it arrived in the middle of the sky, it spread out and rained. By Allah, we did not see the sun for a week. On Friday, a man entered through the same gate while the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was delivering the sermon. The man stood in front of him and said: O Messenger of Allah, the properties have perished and the roads have been cut off. So supplicate Allah to withhold the rain. He said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his hands and said: "O Allah, around us and not upon us. O Allah, on the hills, the small mountains, the valleys, and the places where trees grow." He said: The rain stopped, and we came out walking in the sunshine. Sharīk said: I asked Anas ibn Mālik: Was it the same first man? He replied: "I do not know."

He said: "Go back and pray, for you have not prayed," three times. So, he said: By the One Who sent you with the truth, I cannot do better than that. So teach me. He said: "When you stand to pray, say Takbīr (Allāhu Akbar), then recite whatever you can of the Qur’an; then bow until you are at ease in bowing; then rise until you are standing up straight; then prostrate until you are at ease in prostration; and then sit up until you are at ease in sitting. The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, then Allah made the spoils of war lawful for us when He saw our weakness and helplessness, so He made them lawful for us
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One of the prophets (peace be upon them) set out on a military expedition. He said to his people: 'Let not anyone accompany me who has married a woman and wishes to consummate his marriage with her but has not yet done so, or one who has built a house but has not yet erected its roof, or one who has bought sheep or pregnant she-camels and is waiting for their offspring.' Then he marched on and approached a village at the time of the afternoon prayer or close to that, so he said to the sun: 'You are commanded and so am I. O Allah, hold it back (from setting) for us,' and it was held back until Allah granted him victory. He gathered the spoils of war, and the fire came down to devour them but it did not devour them. He said: 'Some of you misappropriated the spoils of war, so one man from each tribe should give me his pledge of allegiance.' They all did so and the hand of one man stuck to his hand, so he said: 'Your tribe is guilty of misappropriation of the spoils of war. Let all the members of your tribe give their pledge of allegiance to me.' They did so and the hands of two or three men stuck to his hand. He said: 'You have taken something from the spoils of war illegally.' So they brought an amount of gold equal in size to the head of a cow. They placed it among the spoils so the fire approached and devoured them. The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, then Allah made the spoils of war lawful for us when He saw our weakness and helplessness, so He made them lawful for us."

To Allah belongs what He takes, and to Him belongs what He gives, and for everything He sets a specific term. So she should have patience and seek the reward from Allah
Usāmah ibn Zayd ibn Hārithah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet's daughter sent for him to come over because her son was dying. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sent her the greeting of peace and this message: "To Allah belongs what He takes, and to Him belongs what He gives, and for everything He sets a specific term. So she should have patience and seek the reward from Allah." She sent back urging him to come to her. So he, along with Sa‘d ibn ‘Ubādah, Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal, Ubayy ibn Ka‘b, Zayd ibn Thābit and other men (may Allah be pleased with them) went. The boy was given to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and his breath was disturbed in his chest, which made the eyes of the Messenger of Allah overflow with tears. Thereupon, Sa‘d said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is that?" He said: "That is mercy which Allah, the Exalted, puts in the hearts of His slaves." In another version: "In the hearts of those He wills of His slaves. Indeed, Allah is merciful only to those of His slaves who are merciful."

She was later informed that he was the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). So, she went to his house and there she did not find any doormen. I saw that when the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Makkah, he would touch the Black Corner in the beginning of his Tawāf and walk briskly for three rounds
‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) performed both ‘Umrah and Hajj in his Farewell Hajj, performing ‘Umrah first and then Hajj, and offered a sacrificial animal. He drove his sacrificial animals with him from Dhu al-Hulayfah. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) started by assuming Ihrām for ‘Umrah, and after that, he assumed Ihrām for Hajj. And the people too performed ‘Umrah and Hajj with him. So he assumed Ihrām for ‘Umrah first and stayed in Makkah until Hajj. There were some people who brought sacrificial animals and drove them from Dhu al-Hulayfah, while others did not. When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, he said to the people: "Whoever among you has brought the sacrificial animal should not do anything prohibited on account of Ihrām until he ends his Hajj. And whoever among you has not brought the sacrificial animal should make Tawāf around the Ka‘bah, make Sa‘i between Safa and Marwah, shorten his hair, and end his Ihrām. Thereafter, he must offer a sacrificial animal. If anyone cannot afford a sacrificial animal, he should fast three days during Hajj and seven days when he returns home." The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) performed Tawāf around the Ka‘bah on his arrival (at Makkah). He touched the corner (the Black Stone) first of all and then walked briskly during the first three rounds and normally during the last four ones. Then, he offered a two-Rak‘ah prayer at the Station of Ibrahīm, after which he went to Safa and Marwah and performed seven rounds of Sa‘ibetween them. He did not do anything prohibited on account of Ihrām till he finished all the rituals of Hajj and slaughtered his sacrificial animal on the Day of Nahr (sacrifice). He then hastened (to Makkah) and performed Tawāf around the Ka‘bah. Upon doing this, everything that had been forbidden because of Ihrām became permissible for him. Those who took and drove the sacrificial animals with them did the same as the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him).
Ibn ‘Umar said: "I saw that when the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Makkah, he would touch the Black Corner in the beginning of his Tawāf and walk briskly for three rounds."

Then he moved aside and washed his feet. I gave him a garment, but he did not take it, and he moved ahead, shaking off his hands.
